This Morning fans were all for the 'girl power' as Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson took over the show. It's been a long time since viewers of the ITV daytime show have seen the two women together at the helm.
Alison hasn't been seen fronting the show for a couple of weeks now after she and co-host Dermot O'Leary passed over the reins to Josie and Craig Doyle as the several weeks of summer shows continued.
But there was a hosting shake-up for the last edition of This Morning this week with Craig having left Josie to go off on his holidays. The Irish broadcaster, who has been a hit with fans ever since he started co-hosting the show last year, actually confirmed he was off right at the start of Thursday's show (August 10).

Josie, however, confirmed at the same time that Alison would be stepping in, quipping: "I don't know how they are going to manage us." And it turns out Alison has moved her holiday in order to join Josie on the small screen.
After welcoming viewers to the show and complimenting each other's looks, Josie told Alison: "Al, thank you for being here with me today, 'cos you're meant to be on holiday," to which Alison replied: "I only did it because of you really, I love ya. I'm going tomorrow, I've changed my flights just for you."
As Josie then leant in for a hug, Alison added: "It's what we do," before minutes later blaming the fact she was meant to be on holiday for her messing up some of the script, joking: "Mentally, I'm on the plane!"
And as they appeared on screens, Alison also took to Instagram to share a video of the pair busting some moves behind the scenes at the ITV studios. It showed Alison bursting
