This Morning’s Andi Peters stuns Rochelle Humes with quip about The Saturdays

This Morning presenter Andi Peters cheekily left his co-host Rochelle Humes open-mouthed today (August 19) after having a dig at her former band, The Saturdays. His jibe came just as the pair wrapped up a segment involving a studio performance from the cast of new West End musical, Six which reimagines the story of Henry VIII's six wives and featured a contemporary performance which had a distinctly girl-group vibe to it.
Rochelle, 33, applauded the performance and gushed to the camera: "Oh my gosh, I want to be in this band." To which Andi, unable to resist temptation to make a cheeky jibe, cupped his hand as though pretending Rochelle couldn't see and said to the camera: "Cos they're better than the last one." He grinned naughtily while Rochelle gasped and gave him a playful shove. Rochelle clapped back quickly: "How dare you.
Divorced!" And after a swift ad break, Rochelle joked that Andi had nearly suffered the same fate as one of Henry's royal wives as her co-star then declared his love for The Saturdays. Rochelle spent seven years as part of the girl group, touring the world alongside bandmates: Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Mollie King, and Vanessa White.
Some of their highest charting songs include: If This Is Love, Just Can't Get Enough and Forever Is Over but after selling more than 5 million records, the group went on hiatus in 2014. Its members have since gone on to launch successful presenting and reality TV careers.
