This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes has revealed she was left "close to tears" after her baby son was told to "shut up" on a flight. The singer-turned-presenter, 33, recalled the incident on the ITV show alongside co-host Vernon Kay in a discussion about adult-only flights during the segment This Morning's View. When asked whether there should be child-free journeys, the mum-of-three shared a bad experience she'd had on a plane while her little boy Blake was teething.
Rochelle said: "Before I had children I was, I suppose, in that camp. Although it didn't really bother me, I'd have my headphones on, I'd watch a film, I'd get my head down. "If I heard it, it's someone else's problem right? But since having a little one...
My two girls are very good fliers, my son not so much. "I had a flight where a guy sort of said something to me like, 'aren't you going to shut him up?' and I was that close – I was like 'I'm really trying' – to bursting into tears because I feel for the parents." The former S Club Juniors and The Saturdays singer went on to add: "There is nothing worse… I didn't even know my child, he was teething and I was like, 'I don't even know how to settle him myself'." Rochelle shares two young daughters, Alaia-Mai and Valentina, and son Blake with husband Marvin Humes, who she co-hosts BBC One music game show The Hit List with. Her hosting stint on This Morning comes soon after she and JLS singer Marvin, 37, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. The couple got engaged during a romantic getaway on the Caribbean island of Antigua back in 2011.
