Scotland assistant manager John Carver believes Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay can have just as big an influence as Erling Haaland when they face Norway in Oslo on Saturday evening.
After defeating Cyprus and Spain in their first two European Championship qualifiers, the Scots will be hoping to make it a hat-trick of wins when they take on Norway. Steve Clarke's side produced a stunning performance to defeat Spain 2-0 at Hampden Park back in March, inspired by two goals from McTominay.
The United midfielder has scored four of Scotland's five goals in their qualifying campaign so far after stepping off the bench to score two late goals in the 3-0 win over Cyprus. It means he will be hoping to have a positive impact once again in Oslo.
The clash with Norway is the first of two matches that Scotland will play in the upcoming period of qualifying fixtures, ahead of taking on Georgia at Hampden Park next Tuesday. Although they face the unenviable task of trying to stop Manchester City star Haaland this weekend, Carver says Scotland have their own threats, including McTominay.

"They will be worried about some
