Saffie's dad Andrew says: "I would say that whatever your feelings or thoughts are, they're not right or wrong. You might feel like killing yourself, drinking or screaming, like you're losing your mind. You're going to experience feelings that you've never experienced before and you've got to understand that it's okay to feel that way.
"Other things around you are going to get you through the minutes of the day, to the point where days will pass. Not for things to get better, but for you to get to a point where you can start to process what's happened. You've got to allow those feelings to embrace you, however hard that is, and you have to give that time.
"Not for time to be a healer but for it to allow you to work out what you need to do from then on."
