Tonight’s the night: The Golden Bachelor is finally premiering!
If you don’t know, Gerry Turner was announced as the star of the show a few weeks back. He is a 71-year-old retired restaurateur and doting father and grandfather. He lives in his absolute dream house on a lake in Indiana.
You might be wondering why Gerry is single, and that story has a tragic ending. Gerry actually married his high school sweetheart, Toni, back in 1974. She sadly fell ill and passed away in 2017.
The contestants range in age from 60 to 75, and one of them is the mom of a former Bachelor star!
