The Victorian owner of the hall Sir Charles Nevill began an extensive programme of improvements to the hall and hired local designer and architect George Faulkner Armitage, which was greatly influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement - details of which you can see throughout the hall today. Visitors have praised the hall on Tripadvisor.
