'The Diplomat' Season 2: 7 Stars Likely Returning, 2 Could Exit, & 1 Likely Won't Be Back

The Traitors returned for a second season this year.Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the reality series sees 22 contestants compete for a prize fund worth up to £120,000 at a castle in the Scottish Highlands.As they arrive at the castle, a small number are selected to be “Traitors” who have to eliminate the “Faithful” contestants to claim the prize. However, if the latter manage to work out and banish the deceitful contestants through daily roundtable meetings, they win the cash prize instead.The show’s second season began on Wednesday January 3 and concluded on Friday January 26 after twelve episodes.After a tense and dramatic finale, traitor Harry was revealed as the winner of season two of the show.Evie was banished first in the final after the remaining contestants voted that she was a traitor before it was revealed that she was in fact a faithful.

It’s been awhile since Matthew McConaughey last appeared onscreen: four years, in fact. Not since 2019’s crime thriller The Gentleman has Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey gotten a chance to thrill audiences, but it looks like he’s getting closer at finding his next project in a big way. Sources tell Deadline that McConaughey is in negotiations to star in Comet Films and Blumhouse’s The Lost Bus, with Paul Greengrass in negotiations to direct and Apple Original Films in discussions to board the film.

The Witcher star Freya Allan has told NME what to expect from the Netflix fantasy show’s upcoming fourth season, which introduces new lead Liam Hemsworth as the titular monster hunter previously played by Henry Cavill.Cavill played Geralt for three seasons from 2019, but announced he would be vacating the position in October 2022. It was widely speculated that he had made the move in order to reprise the role of Superman in upcoming DC films.

Allison Janney is guest starring on The Diplomat this season!

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Allison Janney is joining “The Diplomat” Season 2 at Netflix, Variety has learned exclusively. Janney will appear in a guest starring role of the political thriller series, playing Vice President Grace Penn. She joins series lead Keri Russell, who stars as the titular diplomat Kate Wyler.
