The Chase stars looked worlds away from their usual TV alter egos as they attended the 2022 TV BAFTA Awards.The show won Best Daytime show at this year's ceremony and to celebrate its stars – Paul Sinha, Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan and Mark Labbett – were on the red carpet, looking remarkably different from the characters we best know them as on TV. While the famous men of the show opted for smart suits, Anne and Jenny opted for similar style sequinned gowns.
Jenny Ryan, 40, is best known for her her alter ego of The Vixen on the show, with her bright red hair in a bouffant style and a smart purple and black dress. Her co-star Anne Hegarty, 63, is best known for her role of The Governess on the show, where she answers questions with a stern stare. On the red carpet however, she smiled as she wore a long blue gown, a pair of low black heels and wore a matching silver necklace and earrings.
The 2022 BAFTA TV Awards took place on Sunday 8 May at London's Royal Festival Hall and was the first ceremony since 2019 to be held with an audience due to the coronavirus pandemic. Richard Ayoade returned as host for the third year in a row while George Ezra led the celebrations with a red-carpet performance of his brand-new single Green Green Grass before the show began.
