A teenager will stand trial in Manchester after he denied preparing acts of terrorism allegedly involving homemade firearms, explosives and a 'manifesto'.
Former university student Jacob Graham, 19, is accused of buying items and getting instructions to make lethal firearms and ammunition between May 1 2022 and May 16 2023.
He is alleged to have acquired and hidden materials to make explosive substances, and composed draft documents 'my letter' and 'manifesto' as part of his preparations.

A second charge of preparing acts of terrorism alleges that he intended to assist another with the construction of a document entitled 'freedom encyclopedia'. Four more charges relate to the possession of terrorist documents on subjects such as training a “militia unit”, “100 deadly skills”, and homemade ammunition.
He is accused of two further charges of dissemination of a terrorist publication on January 25 and March 22.
On Friday, Graham, from Outer Forum, Liverpool, attended the Old Bailey for a hearing before Mr Justice Jeremy Baker.
He appeared by video link from Forest Bank prison in Salford wearing a blue T-shirt and glasses and pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him. Graham faces a four-week trial at Manchester Crown Court from January 17 next year before Mr Justice Goose.
