A teenage boy has been hospitalised after suffering injuries during a fire in a wooded area in Bolton. The blaze on Angelbank in Horwich is believed to have involved a paint cannister, a fire service spokesperson said.
A casualty was taken to hospital following the incident this evening. It is understood that the injured person is a teenage boy.
It's also understood that the the boy ran from the wooded area in pain and went to a nearby house for help. Neighbours reported seeing a large emergency services presence including firefighters, paramedics and police officers.

On onlooker claimed the boy went into a nearby house to use a shower. The emergency services were first called to the scene at 5.30pm.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: "At approximately 5.30pm on Monday, 2nd May, firefighters were called to an incident on Angelbank, in Horwich, Bolton. Two fire engines from Bolton fire station quickly attended the scene.
"The fire is believed to have involved a paint cannister in a wooded area. One casualty has been taken to hospital in an ambulance by NWAS.
"Firefighters are working to make the scene safe and remain in attendance at this time."
A resident on the street told the M.E.N: "There has been a lot of emergency services about an hour ago, two fire engines, a couple of police vans, a couple of ambulances.
"This is a really quiet street where nothing really happens so it was quite out of the blue.
"The word between the neighbours is that it is something to do with fire.
"At the back of the street there's a little wooded area where it appears that has happened. There's a lot of kids that always hang around here just kind of wandering about.
