A woman who was found dead on a major Scots road after being hit by several motors has been named by police. Officers rushed to the A90 Kingsway West in Dundee on Thursday, July 27, following reports a person had been struck by a number of vehicles.

Two people have been injured and a teenager charged after a car allegedly smashed into a house in Fife. Emergency services were called to the scene on Woodside Way in Glenrothes shortly before 8pm on Friday.
Pictures from the scene show a car resting inside the living room of the property, which was left with a massive gaping hole in the wall. A 67-year-old man, who lives in the house, was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
A 67-year-old woman who was inside the property was uninjured. A female passenger in the car, 18, was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy where she was treated and has since been discharged
The 18-year-old male driver of the car was uninjured. Police Scotland have confirmed he has now been arrested and charged with alleged road traffic offences and will appear in court at a later date.
A statement from the force said: “Around 7.50pm on Friday, July 21, a white Vauxhall Corsa crashed into the living room of a house on Woodside Way near Woodside Road, Glenrothes.
“The 67-year-old male occupant of the house was seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where medical staff describe his condition as stable. A 67-year-old woman from the house was uninjured.
“The 18-year-old female passenger of the car was taken by ambulance to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy where she was treated and has since been discharged.
“The 18-year-old male driver of the car was not injured. He has been arrested and charged with alleged road traffic offences. He has been released on an Undertaking to appear at court at a later date.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. Officers remain at the scene. The road is open.”
