Variety wrote of a March “SOS” tour date : “To say that SZA made a huge splash with her hits-filled, nautically themed ‘SOS’ tour concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden would be a conceptually on-message but drastically understated statement: She performed 32 songs on a wildly elaborate seaside-themed stage that included a giant fake fishing boat, a dinghy that soared above the crowd and a lighthouse, brought out two fellow queens — rapper Cardi B and indie-rock titan Phoebe Bridgers, within 10 minutes of each other, no less — and played a crowd-pleasing, nearly two-hour-long set that had the audience out of their seats and singing along for virtually the entire show.” EUROPEAN TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with local presales on Wednesday, April 12 at 10am local time. If there are any tickets remaining, a general on sale will take place on Friday, April 14 at 12pm Local

Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor It is no understatement to say that Timbaland is one of the most influential and successful songwriter-producers of the last three decades: Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Madonna, Drake, Bjork and even Chris Cornell are just the best-known of the literally hundreds of artists the man born Timothy Zachery Mosely has worked with since the Virginia-born, Miami-based hitmaker first popped onto the scene with records by Aaliyah and Ginuwine in the mid-1990s. His monumentally prolific musical output slowed down to normal speed for a few years while he focused on a multitude of other projects — most prominently “Verzuz,” the pandemic-spawned rap/R&B battle series he launched with fellow hitmaker Swizz Beatz, which he says has a top-secret announcement coming that will “take us to a whole other level”; and Beatclub, a curated platform for producers and songwriters to sell beats, demos and other song elements to artists, brands and music supervisors.
SZA has been enjoying a standout year so far in 2023. After releasing her long-awaited SOS late last year, she has been a Hot 100 staple with "Kill Bill" and embarked on an arena tour where guests, including Cardi B and Phoebe Bridgers, have joined her for surprise appearances.

He was 73.
