In the series finale, the siblings, after nine episodes of selfishness and depravity, finally show up for the ones they love. On a desperate mission to win an Academy Award for playing gay Albert Einstein, Drew Tarver’s Cary chooses to take a break from acting — despite the movie landing Harry Styles as a love interest — in order to heal himself and repair his friendship with Curtis (Brandon Scott Jones). Meanwhile, as her famous family members’ talent manager, Heléne Yorke’s Brooke publicly takes the fall for Pat (Molly Shannon) and Chase (Case Walker), at once achieving her goal to “do good.” In the series’ final moments, Brooke reconciles with longtime love Lance (Josh Segarra) with a good old-fashioned make-out in the rain, and Cary meets new friends and finds happiness outside of chasing career achievements.

In an early Thursday morning Instagram story, Parks, who portrays Superman’s ally John Henry Irons on the show, penned the caption “Looking for work” with a photo of himself alongside a plush teddy bear below a neon bar sign, per our sister site TVLine.

The CW’s Superman & Lois has set the returning cast for the recently picked up 10-episode fourth season, with four of the 12 Season 3 series regulars coming back amid budget cuts. Departing as series regulars are Dylan Walsh, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks, Tayler Buck and Sofia Hasmik, Deadline has learned. Five of them had been on the show from the start, Walsh, Chriqui, Valdez, Parks and Navarrette.

Following Treat Williams’ sudden death today in a motorcycle accident at the age of 71, the veteran actor was remembered by Emily VanCamp. In one of her first major roles, VanCamp starred opposite Williams on Greg Berlanti’s cult WB drama series Everwood, which ran for four seasons, from 2002=06. The two also starred together in the 2011 CBS Hallmark Hall Of Fame movie Beyond the Chalkboard.

J. Kim Murphy It’s curtains for “Gotham Knights” at The CW. The network will not move forward with a second season of the DC Comics series, Variety has learned. The series was absent from a statement of upcoming programming from the CW, which announced renewals for both “Superman & Lois” and “All American: Homecoming” for the 2023-2024 broadcast season. The news about “Gotham Knights” comes more than two weeks ahead of the date that the series is slated to air what would now be its series finale. The program premiered on March 4 and was set to conclude its 13-episode season on June 27.

The CW has canceled Gotham Knights after one season.
