Strictly Come Dancing star Fleur East has paid an emotional tribute to her late father Malcolm in a post marking the fourth anniversary of his death. 36 year old Fleur, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Marcel Badiane-Robin, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her “darling” father who tragically passed away in 2020 after suffering a heart attack. In a series of posts added to her Instagram story, the former The X Factor star gushed over her doting dad and explained how she’d tell his grandchildren all about their grandad - who she referred to as being “the best”.
Sharing a sweet snap of herself and her dad from when she was younger, Fleur wrote: “4 years today without my Daddy darling. I miss him so, so much today more than ever! Always imagining what he would be saying to me at this stage of my life…” The radio host shared more photographs from her childhood in following tributes, and alongside one she added: “He was just the best!!! We have the most amazing memories.” Rounding off the emotional posts, Fleur, who showed off her blossoming baby bump at the Brit Awards earlier this month, stated: “Love you forever Daddio. Can't wait to tell your grandchildren all about you.” The Sax singer’s Instagram posts come after she opened up about how the sad loss of her father inspired her to start a family of her own.
