Strictly’s Oti Mabuse issues update on baby number two after star’s ‘shocking’ ordeal

Oti Mabuse has shared that she is hoping to have as many children as she can afford, hinting that a second child could be on the cards soon, just months after welcoming her first baby, a little girl, with husband Marius Lepure.
The Dancing On Ice judge, 33, who announced the birth of her daughter on Christmas Day, went through a tough labour as her little one, whose name has not been shared, was born prematurely. She was placed on an incubator and spend six weeks in hospital due to suffering with jaundice.
However, the ordeal has not put her off having more children, as Oti was quizzed on how many more she would have in a new interview with The Times. “As many as I can afford," she replied, before recalling what she had been through and sharing that it had only made her “stronger”.
"What I have been through shocked me, but it made me even stronger. You can imagine if I'm ambitious in my work, how ambitious I am as a mum," added the professional dancer turned judge, who is sister to dancer Motsi Mabuse.
Oti announced the birth of her daughter via Instagram with a sweet family snap at Christmas, where she and her husband donned matching festive pyjamas and held their daughter and their pup for a snap. Discussing the birth last month during an appearance on Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, Oti explained that they kept the birth a secret for the first nine weeks, wanting to cherish some private time together as a family.
