Former Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has revealed he has been blocked on social media by Jeremy Vine after he took a swipe at the BBC Radio 2 host for posting another cycling video. Last week, Jeremy, 58, shared a clip to X, formally known as Twitter, of his bike being run over by a van and explained he had sent the footage to the police. He also shared the outcome which included the van driver attending a “Safe and Considerate Driving Course”.
James penned: “I was blamed for this — a van hitting me in a cycle lane. So I took the footage to the police, and here is the outcome. Might help some Twitter-drivers understand the law better.
Thanks and Happy Xmas to @metpoliceuk and all road safety units with British police who keep us safe.” James Jordan seemed to take an issue with the social media post and took a swipe at the radio presenter, questioning whether he needed to take a “road proficiency course”.
He said: “Driver wasn’t prosecuted which says a lot.
They are basically saying what he did was equivalent to going 34 in a 30 - and why does it ALWAYS happen to you Jeremy? Maybe it’s you that needs to go for a road proficiency course.” The former professional dancer added that he “never” has issues when he goes out on his own bike. Another social media took to Jeremy’s defence and commented: “The police said the motorist was in the wrong and Jeremy wasn't. It's that simple”, however James simply replied: “Wasn’t prosecuted”.
