Strictly's Amanda Abbington slams Giovanni Pernice feud claims amid rumours she 'threatened to quit'

Amanda Abbington has issued a statement insisting everything is "all good" between her and Giovanni Pernice ahead of the first Strictly Come Dancing live show.
The Sherlock actress, 49, reportedly threatened to quit the BBC ballroom dancing show before their first live show after a series of rows with the Italian dancer, 33. Taking to social media on Saturday, Amanda said she was “cr**ping herself out of fear and anxiety” and had an anxiety dream last night that she forgot her steps.,
“So it’s the first live show. I’ve been up since 6am. I had one of those anxiety dreams where you can’t remember what you’re doing, you forget your lines or you forget your dance. That’s what I did today. I won’t because it’s been drilled [into me]. Those anxiety dreams suck, don’t they?” the TV star said.
Amanda went on to reference her "feud" with Giovanni and rubbished the rumours insisting things were “all good” between them. She went on to say she was “very excited and very, very nervous, but it’s all fun”.
Seeming to address the feud claims, the actress said she was: “Ignoring the bulls***, because clearly people are t****.”
Amanda added: “Just stop it, stop it, grow up. No one gives a s***. Shut up, it’s b****cks, so f*** off. You know who I’m talking to as well. Come on, jog on, it’s nonsense and you know it’s nonsense. It’s all good.”
Also attempting to shut down the rumours, Giovanni wrote: "I usually don't say those things early (as everybody know) but I'm extremely proud of you [Amanda] and I can't wait for people to watch we have created."
