Strictly Come Dancing contestant Amanda Abbington has hit back following claims she nearly quit the show due to alleged rows with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice. The actress posted a video on Instagram on Saturday morning, hours before the live show is due to air on BBC One.
She told fans that she was wearing a jacket which said ‘who cares what other people think’ and she added: “Because who does care what other people think, there’s a life lesson.” It comes after reports earlier this week that she found Giovanni’s training style ‘aggressive’ and that she almost left the show, the Mirror reports.
In the video she insisted that things were “all good” between the couple. She went on to say she was “very excited and very, very nervous, but it’s all fun”. Seeming to address the feud claims, the 51-year-old said she was: “Ignoring the bulls***, because clearly people are t****.”
