The former X Factor contestant had been hosting the show for four years and his departure announcement on April 12 came as a surprise to fans, as many tried to predict his replacement. In his statement, Rylan acknowledged that his time on It Takes Two had been amazing, but he felt it was time to "hang up his glittery jacket" and move on
