Experts are looking into how a stream near a popular park in Stockport turned a strange shade colour. The watercourse, close to Bruntwood Park in Cheadle, was seen having turned a bright, almost luminous shade of blue.
David Orchard, 48, saw it as he was walking his dog shortly before 12:30pm on Tuesday. He told the Manchester Evening News: "It is a run-off from a field at the end of Bruntwood Lane. It runs into a stream that goes into the park. I've never seen water like it before."
David took to social media to issue a warning to other dog walkers. "My dog doesn't go in that stream, but I quite often seen dogs downstream of that location," he said.
