The Royal Family are well-known for taking good care of their health by ensuring they take regular exercise and watch what they eat.The late Queen was perhaps the most well regarded for watching her diet and preferred simple dishes with lots of fruit and vegetables over any with thick and heavy sauces. Another such royal who has become famed for leading an incredibly healthy lifestyle is the Princess of Wales. However when she was pregnant with her third child, Prince Louis, she experienced some rather weird cravings.
Kate and William welcomed little Louis at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington on April 23, 2018. It is well-known that the Princess faced many difficulties during her pregnancies and was even briefly hospitalised for severe morning sickness before Prince George was born in 2013. And like many who are expecting, Kate also experienced several very strange food cravings which included enjoying incredibly spicy food and curries.
But perhaps the most unusual was her craving for thinly sliced pickle on brown toast. Kate also reportedly ate avocado to cope with her difficult struggle with morning sickness. During the royal visit in 2017, Prince William was offered an avocado by a young boy whose mum was suffering too.
William told the little boy: “I’ve never been given an avocado before. That’s really sweet of you. Catherine will love the avocado.” When it comes to Kate's favourite snacks, it seems she only has a penchant for the healthiest foods. She has been known for satisfying her hunger cravings by sticking with raw fruit and vegetables, including immune-boosting goji berries.

She’s had them for afternoon tea ever since,” McGrady said. When the queen would spend time at her summer residence, Balmoral Castle in Scotland, fresh strawberries were picked from the garden and used for the jelly spread.Butter and jam make up the delicacy and are cut into small circles the size of an old British penny.
The late Queen was a pioneer in quietly modernising the Royal Family throughout her monumental 70-year reign. While there are countless examples to choose from, one of the most significant affected the placement of her great-grandchildren in the Line of Succession, regardless of their gender.
Members of the Royal Family must abide by a series of strict rules and codes of conduct at all times, whether that is adhering to specific protocol, attending events or arriving in a particular order. While household rules are certainly not as steeped in pressure, the Prince and Princess of Wales also have a selection of rules for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to follow at home.
