Kate Middleton apparently let her hair down last weekend at an electronic musical festival, leaving William at home with their three kids.
The Princess of Wales was reportedly talked into attending her first festival over a dinner with her pals earlier this year and, despite feeling "nervous" about the idea at first, she went ahead with the girls day out plans.
Last weekend, the royal is believed to have been among the 10,000 partygoers and rave fans who let loose at the Houghton Festival, which is advertised as the UK's only 24-hour event that plays electronic music in the Norfolk countryside.
She attended the event with friends and left her husband William at home to look after Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the Mirror reports.
A source told Mail Online : “After dinner, one of the guests suggested Catherine go to the festival. Catherine was nervous about the idea, but, after much discussion with her protection officers, she went with lots of security. William wasn't there.”
The pals who are believed to have talked Kate into coming along to the event are the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, David and Rose.
An online post by festival organisers read: "A celebration of art & music in the Norfolk countryside, thank you to all those who came to Houghton 2023."
However, this is not the first time the princess has shown off her love for music as last year William and Kate delighted crowds with their dance moves when they welcomed to a village in Belize.
The future King gave a little shimmy when the couple were treated to welcome dance in the village of Hopkins, known as the country's happiest village.
