Gary Neville has named the four questions Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe will need to ask Erik ten Hag before deciding whether he should be sacked in the summer.
MEN Sport reported this week that Ratcliffe was not 100 per cent convinced by the Dutchman and was unsure whether he would remain as manager beyond this season. The factors which could decide his fate are believed to be how United do in the FA Cup and whether or not they qualify for next season's Champions League.
The latter objective took a huge blow on Sunday as the Reds fell to a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Despite leading at the break through Marcus Rashford, a Phil Foden brace and Erling Haaland strike sealed the bragging rights for the Blues.

Reflecting on Ten Hag's future in Manchester, Neville told Sky Sports that four questions should be deciding his fate more than how the team fares in the Premier League and FA Cup. "I always go back to, are we on the right journey? Are we going in the right direction? Is there a style of play? And is there a performance level where you feel like something is building?" He began.
"Last season was really good in the sense of winning a trophy, getting into the Champions League, and reaching the FA Cup final. There were a lot of good things about setting the foundations for Erik ten Hag.
"I would have expected them this season not to win the league but not to be in sixth and so far off. That’s the problem.
