A man seriously injured in a cliff plunge in which his girlfriend was killed is still haunted by the tragedy.
Dominic Long survived the 50ft fall but Alesha Wright, 18, died in the incident in Thurso, Caithness, in July. The 27-year-old was due to appear at Wick Sheriff Court this week for sentence on drug and bail offences.

Tributes flooded in on social media and Dominic’s brother, Liam wrote: “She was my sister, I thought her and my brother would be together forever, it breaks me to think how he must be feeling, if I lost the girl I loved I wouldn’t want to live any more.”
Friend Mary Dasent wrote: “Heaven has gained a beautiful angel you have always been in my thoughts. Sleep tight sweet angel.
This week Long’s solicitor, Fiona MacDonald, said she had arranged for him to go
