Salford's answer to Stacey Solomon shares her 'Just 3 Things' decluttering method

As far as decluttering your life goes, there's a woman from Salford who's giving Stacey Solomon a run for her money.
Professional declutterer Janine McDonald has featured in the Manchester Evening News a number of times, sharing tips to help people clear their homes and minds.
Now she's published her own book based on streamlining your life by doing Just 3 Things and it's already reached the number one spot on Amazon's best seller list.

"It's about removing part of the decision making process as many of us procrastinate decluttering or tidying up due to overwhelm and indecisiveness," said Janine. "It's breaking the task down into smaller chunks."
The mum-of-two, from Swinton, started her decluttering business after struggling with her own mental health and now helps hundreds of overwhelmed parents in the region.
She realised she was letting standards slip after she was made redundant and started struggling with her mental health back in 2016. The 53-year-old had suffered a marriage breakdown, lost her family home and had spent years scrambling to find a flexible job that would work around her duties as a single mum.
Now her ‘Clear the Clutter Now’ business is thriving, with clients across the country. Her book was released alongside her appearance at The Big Festoon in Bolton last month when she spoke in front of an audience of 800 people, hundreds of them entrepreneurs.
"Having clutter around us has a tremendous impact on our mental wellbeing. Far more than we actually think it does," said Janine.
"It affects our mood, our relationship with others in the home and adds to the constant 'to do' lists swirling around in our minds already.
