Former centre-back Rio Ferdinand believes Manchester United can count themselves "lucky" that three of their last four Premier League fixtures are at Old Trafford.

Fortunately for United, however, they still have a game in hand over Liverpool, meaning their destiny remains in their own hands. Furthermore, three of their last four matches are at home and their record in M16 has been almost faultless this season compared to their struggles on the road.
And it is because of the fact they have got three home games to come in the next three weeks that Ferdinand believes his former club will have just enough to retain a top-four berth, resulting in Champions League qualification for next season being secured.
"If you went in that changing room and said three of the last four games are at home at Old Trafford, you'd take that now," Ferdinand told BT Sport. "Form hasn't been great of late but they've got to find it from somewhere.
