Riley Keough walks the red carpet for the premiere of War Pony during the 2023 SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas on Thursday night (March 16).
The 33-year-old actress, who is a director on the film, met up with fellow director Gina Gammell and writer Franklin Sioux Bob for the event.
Cast members LaDainian Crazy Thunder, Jojo Whiting, and Wilma Colhoff were also seen a the premiere.
War Pony centers on the interlocking stories of two young Oglala Lakota men growing up on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Bound by their shared search for belonging, each of the young men grapples with a world built against them, as they navigate their unique paths to manhood.
According to Deadline, following the debut at the festival, the flick was acquired by Momentum Pictures for distribution in the US and Canada.
War Pony actually made its debut during the Cannes Film Festival last fall and won the Camera d’Or (awarded for Best First Feature Film).

In February, two weeks after Lisa Marie's death, Priscilla filed paperwork challenging a 2016 amendment to her daughter's will, which removed Priscilla and Lisa Marie's former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees and named Riley and her brother, Benjamin Keough, as the new co-trustees.
