As the Never Gonna Give You Up hitmaker was welcomed by hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay via a live video feed from his South London home, many fans were quick to comment on his choice of outfit online.
The 57-year-old looked as though he didn't get out of bed until shortly before his interview, where he spoke about his upcoming performance at Glastonbury Festival this year. The singer-songwriter, who returned to the charts in 2016 for the first time in nearly 30 years with the release of his album 50, is due on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm on June 24.
Speaking about his chance to sing at the world-famous festival in Somerset, Astley said: “Obviously, it is an amazing honour and a privilege to play there, I get to play on the Pyramid stage which is absolutely bonkers to be honest. I’ll be early by the way, I’ll be very early on the Saturday, a bit too early so there you go.
