Charlie Newling, a star of The Bachelorette in 2018, has died after his car plunged off a cliff.
The 36 year old has passed away just two months after the birth of his second child. He died after his car fell from a cliff in Dover Heights, in Sydney's eastern suburbs, at 11pm on Saturday. Police and ambulance workers were called to the scene after locals contacted them when they found his car on fire at the bottom of the 70-metre cliff.
Charlie is thought to have welcomed a daughter with his partner Kristal Taylor eight weeks ago. He is already a dad to a 13 year old son from a previous relationship. Charlie was dubbed 'Mr Perfect' during his stint on The Bachelorette in 2018.
Charlie was seen as the 'nice guy' on The Bachelorette.

That came after he refused to say that they were 'exclusive' until she had met his family. Despite boasting of his 'strong family values' which led to him being branded 'Mr Perfect', it emerged that Charlie was father to a son from a previous relationship - something that he didn't reveal on the show.
