Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was left angered by Manchester City’s equaliser in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg draw, insisting that the ball had gone out of play during the build-up.
The officials adjudged the ball to have been kept in play by Bernardo Silva when reaching for it close to the byline. Ancelotti was seen protesting at the decision at the time and went straight to the fourth official when Kevin De Bruyne found the net on 67 minutes.
Madrid had gone ahead after 36 minutes through Vinicius Junior’s power strike and Ancelotti was not best pleased with the manner in which his side lost their lead, and ended up being cautioned for his adamant protests.

When asked earlier by BT Sport why he received a yellow card, he answered: “I don’t know why.”
City boss Pep Guardiola was pleased with the performance from his side and is looking forward to the second leg at the Etihad next Wednesday. "It was a really tight game,” he said.
“Congratulations to the team because this team is always so difficult [to play against] for their history but also their quality.
“We started really well and when we were better they made an incredible transition from [Eduardo] Camavinga and an incredible transition.
“And when they were better than us in the second half, we scored. It's open to Manchester,
