A BBC Radio 1 DJ was taken off the air after she interrupted a colleague's live broadcast from Ibiza. Arielle Free was told to "have some respect" by Dance Anthems host Charlie Hedges when she butted in as her fellow presenter played a set on the island.
The incident happened during Saturday's (July 29) Dance Anthems show. Charlie had been playing a song called My Barn My Rules by MCR-T & horsegiirL when Arielle approached the mic.
The Mirror reports that Arielle said: “This is what happens, you play on Friday night, you play on Saturday day, and your voice just goes. I sound great, don’t I?”

Charlie then said: “Sorry, I’m taking your mic down. It’s my show, Arielle, have some respect, please. This is Dance Anthems, have some respect, yep, see you later, get out of here.”
Whooping and shouting could be heard in the background as Charlie introduced a voice note from a listener “who also likes HorsegiirL.”
My Barn My Rules is a dance track that features equine-themed lyrics such as "I walk, I trot, I lope, I gallop" complete with neighing sound effects. It also informs listeners as the beats get under way: "Old Billy was the oldest recorded horse, who lived to the ripe old age of 62 - this one is for you Old Billy."
A spokesperson for the BBC said: “Whilst we would not comment on individual matters, we have strict codes of behaviour for staff and presenters, and any breaches are
