Episode five of the ITV docuseries Inside the House of Windsor, which airs on Thursday, takes a closer look at Andrew’s relationship with his mother. Entitled Heirs and Spares, the show acknowledges that the Queen stayed eerily silent on the matter and stood by Andrew even after his disastrous BBC Newsnight interview.
