In the wake of Queen Elizabeth II’s death and King Charles III's accession to the throne, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly want to delay the release of their Netflix documentary series and the duke's memoir.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hope to make last-minute edits to portions of both projects that talk about Harry’s brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, as well as the king and his wife Camilla, the queen consort, the New York Post reported.  Both the Netflix series and Harry’s memoir were set to be released by the end of the year, the newspaper reported, but will likely now be pushed until next year.  "A lot of conversations are happening," a source told the Post. "I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall.

King Charles is hopeful that with time, he can make peace with his youngest son and daughter-in-law. Palace sources recently told The Telegraph that the monarch saw "tremendous flickers of hope" in his recent interactions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex amid Queen Elizabeth’s death. "I don’t think anyone would deny that publicly Prince Harry and Meghan Markle behaved themselves during the loss of Queen Elizabeth II," Kinsey Schofield, royal expert and host of the "To Di For" podcast, told Fox News Digital.

The duchess was seen moments later in a car crying.  Low writes that the palace had to assure Scotland Yard that Meghan had proper protection while on the trip through the South Pacific after reports came out about her being rushed from the marketplace.  The author noted it wasn’t clear why Meghan wouldn’t want to be associated with UN Women and her lawyers have denied that claim.  "This is completely false,"

Queen Elizabeth II's coffin was taken from Buckingham Palace on Wednesday and a procession including King Charles III, Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward took to the streets of London to bring it to Westminster Hall. Once inside Westminster, William and Harry were joined by their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, for the Service for the Reception of Her Majesty's Coffin. The queen's coffin will lie in state at Westminster Abbey until the date of her planned funeral on Sept. 19.
