A new bid has been launched to solve the mystery of a man who was vanished in Aberdeen more than 30 years ago.
Keith Woodburn, 58, from Cumbria, was reported missing in February 1990 when he was 25-years-old. However, a friend reportedly spotted him briefly at some point between September 1993 and the early part of 1995 at Union Street in Aberdeen.
Keith spent the majority of his life down south in Ulverston in Cumbria and was living in Barrow-in-Furness when he was first reported missing.
However, a woman reported that she saw him briefly during a lunch break in Aberdeen. She was not aware that Keith was reported missing at the time and it is her belief that he was living in the Torry area of Aberdeen.
Some initial enquires were conducted by Cumbria officers in Aberdeen following the sighting, however, none of these sighting have ever led to any further information on his whereabouts.
Officers at the Cumbria Constabulary’s Force Major Investigation Team have now launched a fresh appeal to trace Keith, hoping that an old image of him will jog people's memories to come forward with information that could lead to his discovery.
The team, in line with other UK police forces, periodically review long-term missing person investigations to see if any further lines of inquiry can be completed to attempt to locate them.
Officers investigating this case are making a renewed attempt to see if anyone living in the Aberdeen area has any knowledge of Mr Woodburn. They are also appealing directly to Mr Woodburn to come forward and confirm he is safe and well.
Doug Marshall, a Police Staff Senior Investigator Officer at Cumbria Constabulary, said: “If Mr Woodburn reads this appeal, I would urge him to come forward and let us know he safe

Zack Sharf Pedro Pascal is television’s biggest leading man right now. Not only is the actor at the forefront of HBO’s ratings juggernaut “The Last of Us,” but he’s about to return to the “Star Wars” universe with the third season of “The Mandalorian” on Disney+. A new season of “The Mandalorian” means Pascal might see an influx of what he considers to be his fans’ creepiest request: Talking to children with his Mandalorian voice. “People come up to me and ask me to do the voice [from The Mandalorian] for their kids,” Pascal said during an interview on “The Graham Norton Show” (via HuffPo UK). “But I think it sounds inappropriate because it is a breathy, low register ‘bedroom’ voice.”
