Police responded to reports of 'anti-social youths' at a new transport interchange in Stockport just one day after it was officially opened.
Officers were called to the Stockport Interchange on Tuesday night (March 19) following 'a report of youths taking part in anti-social behaviour'. Several police cars were pictured outside the entrance of the transport new hub.
An eyewitness said officers briefly prevented members of the public from going into or through the building. No arrests were made, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said.

An investigation has been launched, with any witnesses or anyone with information urged to contact officers. The new bus station and two-acre rooftop Viaduct Park opened on Sunday, but was formally unveiled on Monday morning after years of work at the site.
It has 18 bus stands with the capacity for 164 departures every hour, as well as a new walking and cycling route between the park and Stockport's railway station. From late April a spiral and cycle walking ramp will connect the new park with the River Mersey frontage and Trans Pennine Trail, creating access between the park and on to the town centre on cycle or foot.
