Phillip Schofield may be in the midst of plotting his big TV comeback, with the support of his daughter Molly, according to recent hints.
The former This Morning star, 61, has been marred by controversy following his resignation from ITV last year. At the time he admitted to an "unwise but not illegal" relationship with a much younger showrunner at This Morning. He was then subsequently dropped by his talent agency YMU, where his daughter worked.
In the months since, Molly quit her job at the agency, due to the "awkward" situation surrounding her father. Since then, insiders have claimed that she has been unofficially working as her dad's publicist. A source told MailOnline: "Molly was popular at YMU but it was always going to be a little bit awkward working there after what happened.
Phillip was part of the furniture there, he was very important and very powerful so things must have changed a lot for her. "As recently as three weeks ago she was negotiating with the British media about stories that had been published about her father, acting very much as his PR." According to her LinkedIn profile, Molly left the talent agency in January. OK! have contacted representatives for Phillip Schofield.
Former Dancing On Ice host Phillip has been keeping a low profile since the affair emerged last year. He has since been spending time with his adoring daughters Molly and Ruby, whom he shares with wife Steph. The two women are reportedly "fiercely protective" over their father, who came out publicly in early 2020, and will do all they can to look after him.
