Peter Andre has reached out to Nicola Bulley's family as the search for the mum-of-two continues. On 27 January, Nicola dropped off her daughters, aged six and nine, at school and was on her usual walk when she disappeared. Her phone – still connected to a call for her job as a mortgage advisor – was found on a bench overlooking the river, but despite a huge search of the river and surrounding countryside by Lancashire Police, no trace of her has been found.
Peter, 49, shared his sadness over Nicola's "bizarre" disappearance and branded the story "heartbreaking" in his new OK! column. "Like the rest of the nation I have been saddened by the disappearance of Nicola Bulley, who was still missing at the time of me writing this. It’s such a bizarre story," the dad-of-four wrote in his exclusive column.
Peter continued: "If she had fallen into the river you’d expect to see slip marks or footmarks or something on the ground. But on the flip side, if someone did take her, you’d think there would also be signs of a struggle. There seems to be more questions than answers, that’s for sure." The singer reached out Nicola's loved ones saying he "feels so much" for her family. "It’s heartbreaking and I feel so much for her and her family.
It’s horrific. It’s one thing someone going missing, but it’s another thing not knowing what happened to them. I can’t even imagine it." As the search for Nicola continues, the mum-of-two's partner Paul Ansell recently took part in an interview with 5 News presenter Dan Walker, which aired on 10 February.
