David Beckham was seen celebrating his son Cruz's 18th birthday down the pub as he joined his son for his first legal pint. And our columnist Peter Andre spoke about the father-son moment, saying how he thinks it is "cool" when fathers and sons can have a drink together. Pete, 49, wrote: "David Beckham had a celebratory pint with son Cruz for his first legal drink now that he’s 18.
I think it’s cool when fathers and sons can have a drink together. "David has a great relationship with his kids." During his birthday celebrations, Cruz wrote: "Feels good to be 18," alongside a snap on his Instagram, after he, dad David, 47, and brother Romeo, 20, made a trip to the pub. While Pete - who is dad to Junior, 17, Princess, 15, Amelia, nine, and six year old Theo - wouldn't be having a pint with Junior on his 18th, he revealed his son will be sure to celebrate in style.
"Before your kids turn 18, you bring them up the best you can. But then, when they turn 18, you have to understand they are legally an adult," he said. "I’m not a drinker but when Junior turns 18, I’m sure he’ll have a party.
He’s thinking about it already but I won’t be cramping his style." As Cruz turned 18, doting parents David and Victoria, 48, who also share Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 20, and Harper Seven, 11, together, penned tributes online to their “amazing boy”. David wrote: “Happy 18th Birthday to our baby boy.To the most amazing boy with the most amazing energy and the biggest heart x we are so proud of you and we love you so much Cruzie.” Mum of four Victoria also said: “Happy Birthday Cruzie!! We all love you so much and are so proud of the incredible young man you have become. You are our everything.
