Angelique Jackson “The Righteous Gemstones” star Tony Cavalero has joined the cast of “Lips Like Sugar,” a crime thriller set during the 1984 summer Olympics Games in Los Angeles, starring Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson. Cavalero is best known for his breakout performance as Keefe, the lovable ex-Satanist turned fan-favorite mullet man, in Danny McBride’s cult hit HBO series. “The Righteous Gemstones” was renewed for a fourth season last July.

AC/DC’s Brian Johnson and Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler are set to star in a new documentary series, named Johnson and Knopfler’s Music Legends. The six-part series will see the two classic rockers explore the lives of six other music legends, with the show set to run weekly on Sky Arts from April 25. Each episode will see Johnson and Knopfler examine the careers of, respectively, Tom Jones, Sam Fender, Cyndi Lauper, Nile Rodgers, Carlos Santana and Emmylou Harris, with the hosts also playing live with the guests on the episodes.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Talaria Media is developing a new comedy series about a retired Navy SEAL, Variety has learned exclusively. The untitled single-camera series hails from writer and director Jame Anderson. It is loosely based on stories from Mark Greene’s book “Unsealed” as well as Anderson’s own life and relationship with her father, who was himself a veteran.

Freddie is a familiar face to anyone who watched The Circle in 2018.The show, which was based around social media, saw contestants compete to become the most popular without ever meeting.The players communicated through a specially designed app and could be themselves, or become a catfish.

Owen Wilson is taking to the golf course for a comedy series for Apple TV+.

The premise of Apple TV+’s “Loot,” featuring multi-Emmy Award-winning star Maya Rudolph, was pretty simple. After divorcing her husband of 20 years, Molly Novak (Rudolph) became filthy rich and must figure out what to do with her $87 billion settlement.

“I’ve been trying to maintain just being truthful on camera.” Comedian Jerrod Carmichael is a comedic force with three previous comedy specials on HBO. But it arguably wasn’t until 2022’s intimate, naked, and very vulnerable comedy special “Rothaniel” (directed by Bo Burnham), where he came out of the closet for the first time, that he truly left an unforgettable mark on the comedy special landscape (the New Yorker called it a “vital” stand-up experience).

UPDATED, 10 AM: HBO has released the official trailer for Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show ahead of its debut later this month. Revolving around Carmichael’s personal life, the show is described as a darkly funny documentary series about Jerrod’s tumultuous quest for love, sex, and truth. New episodes of the eight-episode series will debut weekly beginning Friday, March 29 (11 PM). Check out the trailer above.
