NTA host Joel Dommett has addressed rumours that his wife Hannah has given birth. Joel is set to host the NTA’s tomorrow night – and his wife Hannah is about to welcome their first child. He will return for the third year as host of the National Television Awards, which will be broadcast live tomorrow, Tuesday September 5, from 8pm on ITV1.
Speaking on Instagram stories, the 38 year old said: “It is the day before the the NTA’s. Hannah still hasn’t given birth so that is excellent news. Excellent news for me.
I am not going to be replaced and we will see how tomorrow goes.” Later appearing on This Morning today with Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond, Joel said he was unsure if Hannah was going to attend the glitzy event, given how heavily pregnant she is. He then joked that he was keen for their baby to arrive tomorrow night, so he could arrive to hospital wearing a tuxedo. The couple, who tied the knot during a 2019 beach ceremony in Greece, announced their happy baby news earlier this year in a post on Instagram.
Model Hannah posted a series of polaroid photos showing her husband kissing her growing bump. She jokingly captioned the post: “Does anyone know how to change a nappy? Because Joel has s**t himself.” The pair met after she messaged him on social media following his 2016 appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! For their wedding in Mykonos, close friend and fellow comedian, Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, officiated. Hannah co-hosted ITV lockdown series At Home With Joel Dommett and appeared on Channel 4’s Gogglebox alongside her husband.
The pair also co-host the podcast Never Have I Ever, in which they act on unusual suggestions from listeners and each other.
