A mum who was fatally stabbed to death while pushing her baby in a pram in Bradford on Saturday (April 6) has been named as Kulsuma Akter from Oldham.
The 27-year-old was knifed in the Westgate area of Bradford city centre. She was pushing a five-month-old baby boy in a pram at the time when she was stabbed in the neck.
At a press conference on Monday afternoon (April 8) the victim has now been named by West Yorkshire Police as Kulsuma Akter from Oldham.

Officers have since been hunting murder suspect Habibur Masum, also from Oldham, in connection with the fatal stabbing. CCTV has been issued of Masum, 25, of him wearing a duffle coat with three large horizontal lines of grey, white and black, light blue or grey tracksuit bottoms with a small black emblem on the left pocket and maroon trainers.
Police have also revealed that Kulsuma Akter and Habibur Masum knew each other prior to her being stabbed in Bradford on Saturday. West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that the five-month-old baby boy was not harmed.
Greater Manchester Police has said it has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) over previous contact with Kulsuma Akter and suspect Habibur Masum.
