Motorcyclist, 35, killed in horror crash at junction on busy road

A motorcyclist has died following a horror crash with a Citroen. Police have launched an investigation following the 35-year-old man's death in Bromborough, on the Wirral.
Officers were called out to a serious collision at around 7.10pm last night (September 10). Merseyside Police says the motorbike reportedly collided with a Citroen C3 Aircross car that was turning right from Hesketh Way on to New Chester Road.
Paramedics attended the scene along with the air ambulance. The motorcyclist was treated by paramedics, but sadly died as a result of his injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and police are urging any witnesses, or anyone with CCTV footage, to come forward. Chief Inspector Bobby Woodhall, of Merseyside Police, said: "An investigation is ongoing after a motorcyclist sadly died following a collision on New Chester Road [yesterday].
"The next of kin of the motorcyclist have been informed and are being supported by specialist family liaison officers. We would ask any drivers in the area who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage of the incident, to come forward.
