Martin Lewis' financial advice website Money Saving Expert has issued a 'last chance' warning for people who send letters and packages to stock up on stamps, ahead of next month's price spike.
From April 2, the cost of sending a letter or parcel by second-class standard delivery will jump by 13 per cent to 85p, an increase of 10p per stamp. Royal Mail has stated that increased cost pressures, wage rises, and an ever-increasing number of addresses for their posties to get around on their route have caused the sharp rise in postage costs.

Martin Lewis, founder of MoneySavingExpert.com, said: "For years, every time stamps go up in price I've suggested people stock up and bulk-buy in advance, as provided the stamp doesn't have a price on it and instead just says the postage class, it's still valid after the hike.
"This has been an effective tactic, as a first-class letter
