Video footage showed the moment a man was tasered after a police officer was kicked amid a brawl inside the Manchester AO Arena.
Chaos unfolded in the forecourt of the arena on Hunts Bank on the evening of Saturday, September 2 - as the boxing fight between Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr took place at the venue. Footage showed a man kicking a police officer in the face as multiple officers tried to restrain another man on the floor.
The man was then fell to the floor after being tasered in front of the food and drinks bar. Officers could then be seen pointing their tasers towards the male on the floor in the clip as boxing fans watched the violent scenes unfold.

Police confirmed officers were called to 'reports of a disorder' at the AO Arena at around 11.50pm. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said one of the officers was 'assaulted by a man believed to be involved in the disorder'.
'Proportionate force' was then used in the 'challenging situation' and the taser was deployed to 'safely detain the man', the spokesperson added. Two men were arrested on the scene.
The 42-year-old and 18-year-old were taken into police custody to questioned on suspicion of common assault of an emergency worker. Both have since been bailed.
A police investigation remains underway, with any witnesses of the incident urged to contact detectives. A spokesperson for the AO Arena confirmed that police were dealing with the incident.
