Molly-Mae Hague has made an emotional three-word statement after it was announced that fellow islander Maura Higgins would be returning to Love Island.
Despite a rocky start when they were both keen to 'crack on' with boxer Tommy Fury, Molly-Mae and Maura soon became fast friends on the 2019 instalment of the reality show and have remained close ever since.
And now, Maura is set to return to the popular reality show - but on the USA version, she recently revealed to her fans on Instagram.
Birmingham Live reports that the Irish bombshell had fans swooning after confirming she was heading back onto the show.
Maura announced the news on her Instagram, writing alongside a snap of her at the Fiji villa: “I’M BACK!!!!! Bringing you all the behind the scenes gossip live from Fiji for @loveislandusa.”
Iain Stirling will lend his famous voice for the commentary and Modern Family star Sarah Hyland will be hosting the show, while Maura serves as a behind-the-scenes and backstage reporter.
Molly-Mae immediately commented: “Let’s go girl!!!” with a crying emoji.
Fellow Islanders rushed to congratulate Maura on the news. Faye Winter wrote: “Proud of you!” Laura Whitmore posted a string of clapping emojis, while Tasha Ghouri - the show's deaf contestant from 2022 - wrote a string of heart-eyed emojis.
It comes after Maura posted a mysterious update online earlier this week.
She shared a picture on her story of her view from an airplane, telling her followers "Bye bye London...for a long time."
"Love Island All Stars is in development at ITV and it is a concept they have been talking about. This summer's series marks the tenth series of the show and ITV thinks there's an appetite for the concept," a source said earlier this year.
