Millions of households across the UK could be in line for up to £1,050 worth of support to help them through the cost of living crisis from the start of November.
People claiming certain benefits from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) could be eligible for Cost of Living payments worth up to £600 in November, as well as another £450 worth of energy bill support. The amount of support you will receive depends on the type of benefits you claim.
It comes as part of the government's measures to support the most vulnerable households through the cost of living crisis. A number of payments have already been sent to eligible people so far this year - including a £301 Cost of Living payment at the end of spring, and a £150 payment for people on benefits at the end of June.

The next round of support aims to help the most vulnerable groups - such as pensioners, people with disabilities and those on a low income - through the colder winter months, which can see energy bills soar as people try to keep their homes warm.
