With just hours left to go go until the best and brightest stars of British television go head-to-head at this year’s National Television Awards, this year’s attendees have been busy adding the final touches to their looks before gracing the red carpet at the OVO Arena in Wembley, London. Leading the stars getting glamorous makeovers were Millie Gibson and Alison Hammond.
Ahead of Millie's turn on the red carpet, the Coronation Street star treated her followers to a behind the scenes glimpse of her awards show prep, as she unveiled a stunning updo inspired by '90s icon Pamela Anderson. Sharing the glamorous image on Instagram, Millie could be seen dressed in a plush white bathrobe, while her blonde locks were piled high on her head in a series of voluminous curls.
Alongside her stunning hairdo, Millie also showcased her black tipped manicure, while also showing off her impeccable tan as she bared her collarbones for the camera. Alison, who is nominated for Best Presenter thanks to her charming and cheeky personality on This Morning, treated fans to a glimpse of her awards show prep, as she showed off her glowing skin in her Instagram Stories.
Initially showing her hair tied back with a beautiful printed scarf, Alison showcased her flawless makeup complete with a smokey eye and perfectly styled brows. In a subsequent story, she also showed the team hard at work to style her hair, as she excitedly told fans: “Oh we are so excited! We’re going to the NTAs! It’s going to be so good!” Love Island winners Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu also shared a behind the scenes look at their preparation for the red carpet, with Ekin-Su seen sporting a bold red lip as she sat in the makeup chair ahead of the ceremony.
