Lauren Goodger made her highly anticipated return to reality TV in the latest series of The Only Way Is Essex, 10 years after she shot to fame on the ITVBe show. While her co-stars and fans have been delighted to see her back on screen, others have not been so pleased by her return - including ex-boyfriend Mark Wright.
Lauren, 37, and ex-TOWIE star Mark, also 37, started dating when they were just teenagers, and their relationship spanned a decade until their eventual split in 2011.
The former couple were both huge stars on TOWIE since its inception back in 2010. It's understandable that Lauren and Mark's relationship has come up in conversation since she returned to TOWIE, yet Mark is said to be unhappy about her mentioning him on the show.
In an episode that aired on 7 April, Lauren discussed an intimate tattoo she had of Mark's name with close pal Amy Childs, as she revealed she had it removed after their split. Amy recalled: "I remember spray-tanning you and being like, 'oh my god, she's got "Mark" on her noonie'." She then asked Lauren: "Have you still got it?" before Lauren replied: "No.
It's gone. It had to go.
How could I get with a new boy with that on my noon?" Later in the conversation, Lauren said: "Why did I do that though? See things like that, I look back and think it's so cute, but at the time, I was really serious about it." Now, a source has claimed Mark - who is married to actress Michelle Keegan - wishes his ex "would stop mentioning him".
They claimed he has "moved on from TOWIE" and is "fuming".
The source told The Sun: “Mark wishes Lauren would move on and stop mentioning him - he has moved on from Towie and doesn’t need her bringing up the past. He’s fuming about it but wishes her well.” OK! has
