Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he has been in talks over his next managerial job.
United hero Solskjaer was initially appointed as the Reds' caretaker boss in December 2018, before eventually being handed the role on a permanent basis. The 50-year-old spent two full seasons in charge at Old Trafford, finishing third and second in the Premier League and reaching the Europa League final, before a dismal start to the 2021/22 campaign saw Solskjaer leave the club.
Despite spending alost three years in one of the most high-profile jobs in world football, the former Reds striker has been out of work since November 2021. However, the Norwegian coach has now shared that he has been contacted about a new job at international level.

Asked if he had been approached about the vacant Norway Women's job, Solskjaer replied, "Yes, I have spoken to the association about the job as national coach - of course I have it. They have asked. But I'm not ready for that yet," Solskjaer told Norwegian outlet NRK.
Solskjaer was speaking at an event regarding equal opportunities for women in football and is familiar with the women’s game as his daughter Karna plays for AaFK Fortuna. The former United boss refused to shut down the possibility of taking the job in the future but explained that he already has an idea about his next job.
“I have one more job first, at least on the men's side. That is for sure,” Solskjaer admitted. “I would rather help [the Norway Women team]. I would be happy to help.
“But I don't rule it out, because I'm a football geek. But not yet. Because I'm doing so well with my family and having boys 16 and doing exactly
